Employment

We here at Alberta Professional Services would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our employee application portal. APS has been providing quality services for adults with I/DD/MI for over 25 years and we are always on the lookout for passionate caring individuals to add to our growing team. Our philosophy here is simple. We believe strongly that each and every one of us share the same core needs and desires: the desire to feel safe; the need to feel valued, to be a part of; and the need to be able to develop reliable trusting relationships with people who can guide us to be the best that we can be!

Services that we provide for the clients that we serve include: Alternate Family Living providers, Adult Day Program Support, Community Networking, Supportive Employment, Community Living and Support, Respite, Group Home assistance, and Therapeutic Foster Care. Full time, part time and Contract positions may all be available depending on our growing needs.

We are particularly interested in hearing from prospective applicants who may have already had some experience working with our client I/DD/MI population.

Some of the things that you will need in order to be considered:

  • Valid NCDL
  • Current car insurance
  • Driving record
  • The ability to pass a criminal background check and a NC Heath Care Personnel Registry check
  • High School, University or Community College transcripts

APS will provide you with the training and support that you will need to be successful including certification trainings in First Aid/CPR, Medication Administration, Bloodborne Pathogens, and North Carolina Interventions techniques. Ongoing supervision and QP support here is among the best in the state and we are proud to have been CARF accredited since 2009.

If you enjoy helping others to succeed and have the ability to mentor objectively we would like to hear from you!
